BJP-PDP coalition committed to development of State: Gagan

JAMMU, July 19: MLA R S Pura, Dr.Gagan Bhagat today said that Coalition Government of BJP and PDP is committed to development of the State.
Addressing a gathering at Shiv Nagar Purana Pind Ward No 2 R S Pura, after laying the slab of community hall he said it was a long pending demand of the people of the area and nearly four decades old. He said the Coalition Government was committed to create better infrastructural facilities in every nook and corner of the State under a well-knit development program.
He further said that Government was committed to create better facilities to the people in capital cities of the State. He said the Government has devised a well-knit strategy to upgrade facilities under AMRUT Plan.
He maintained that the multipurpose Community Hall would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 24 lakh. He asked the engineers to construct two-rooms in on the available site for its use during celebration of marriage as well as other social functions. The Legislator directed the REW to gear up their men and machinery in completing the project within stipulated time frame.
Earlier, Dr.Gagan Bhagat also kick started construction work of slab over nallah in W No. 9 near J.K Bank, for which he will focus on extending the parking facilities, as the said area witnessed frequent traffic Jam. He asked the executing agency to also fix colour tiles after opening of the slab. While Interacting with the people of the area, the Legislator said that Government was making all out efforts to boost tourism in the three regions of the State.
While attacking the opposition parties, he said that these parties like Congress , and N.C who have ruled  the State for more than 60 years are responsible for the plight of the people. He further added that people can judge themselves that the long pending works which were ignored are being done by the BJP Government.
