JAMMU, July 21: Natrang is organising ‘Acting Workshop-2017’ from July 23, 2017 at its Studio Theatre, here.
This workshop will have special focus on various aspects of acting with exclusive inclusion of beginners. In its continuous endeavours aimed at providing training opportunities and generating awareness about theatre among youth.
Director Natrang, Padamshree Balwant Thakur informed that this workshop will introduce elementary aspects of Acting processes and also will meet a very noble purpose of making youth aware about their strengths and weaknesses which is must for their overall personality and self development.
Dr Balwant Thakur said in last few years there is a growing demand of actors in the industry of theatre, events, television and films and just to respond to that, Natrang has taken the initiative to help, support and train the fresh talents. Jammu in last few years has been very popular in the theatre and television industry and many young talents from Jammu have made a huge name in theatre, films and TV industry. Many known faces of television like Harish Khanna (Saat Khoon Maaf, Film) Bhanu Goswami (Special Squad, Har Kadam Par Shaq, Hamari Sister Didi) Sunil Palwal ( Jolly LLB2, Maha Kumb, 24 ‘Mughal-e-Aazam’ ‘Yeh Dil Ramta Yogi’, ‘Chehra-the unknown mask’, ‘Satin Sin B’s’, MTV Rush, Shapptah, Rakshak, Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke) Neelu Dogra (1971 Film) Mohit Raina (Devon Ke Dev Maha Dev) Anjali Abrol (Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Nachh Baliye, Singh Sahab The Great), and the like are from Jammu and most of them are the products of similar kind of Natrang’s workshops and training programmes.
