Samba Police recovers stolen property worth Rs 2.5 lakh

SAMBA , July  22: The Samba Police during its drive to recover the stolen goods and other property has recovered six computers, four UPSs, three CPUs, four key boards, four mousses valuing Rs 2.5 lakh approximately.
In this regard a case FIR was registered by Bari Brahmana Police under FIR Number 138/2017 U/S 457/380/RPC.
The police said the case was registered with the police by Sumeet Behal, S/o Suraj Parkash of 2 P/A Shastri Nagar Jammu on July 6 this year.

Five notorious burglars were arrested by Bari Brahmana Police in this connection. They included Yograj Singh alias Jagga S/o Hardev Singh of Smailpur Bari Brahmana, Shokat Ali alias Billa, S/o Mohammed Rashid, of Brajani Meen Sarkar, Bari Brahmana, Khadam Hussain alias Khadam S/o Rehmat Ali also of Meen Sarkar, Bari Brahmana, Vinay Singh Charak alias Vunus S/o Anchal Singh of Meen Sarkar Bari Brahmana and Vishal Singh Ratta alias Vinu S/o Hari Ram of Rajpur Khollar Bari Brahmana.
They confessed during questioning their involvement and on their disclosure Bari Brahmana Police recovered all the electronic gadgets.
All the recoveries were made by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Mahesh Sharma, ASI Anwar Ali under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Usman Choudhary and on the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra.
