Gas leak at China steel plant kills 3

BEIJING, Apr 27: as leak at a steel plant in north China left three workers dead and 5 injured, officials said today.
The accident happened yesterday at Puyang Steel Co Ltd in Hebei province, according to sources with the municipal government.
Gas leaked from a stove under overhaul, leaving eight people poisoned.
Three of them died in hospital, Xinhua news agency reported.
Local authorities have set up a team to investigate the accident. (PTI)
