3 Amarnath pilgrims injured as shooting stones hit bus

RAMBAN, July 26: Three Shri Amarnath pilgrims were injured, when the bus they were traveling in was hit by shooting stones near Silad area on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02Y-0612 carrying Shri Amarnath pilgrims was on its way from Baltal to Jammu, when reached near Silad area of Banihal police station it was hit by shooting stones, resulting into injuries to three pilgrims.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to PHC Ramsu, where they were treated and later discharged.
The injured persons have been identified as Ajay Singh (35), son of Kumar Bubey and Chander Keshwer Dikshed (30), son of Shive Mohan, both residents of Uttar Pradesh and Pardeep Kumar (35), son of Ram Bachan Singh of Bihar.
