Youth arrested for theft in Gurdwara

SUNDERBANI, July 28: A burglar was today arrested by police for the alleged theft in Gurdwara at Marchola in Sunderbani area last night.
The thieves  barged into the Gurdwara  and broke open the donation box and decamped with cash worth more than Rs 35,000. The Golak was found lying in the fields about 100 mt away from Gurdwara. The thieves   had left behind the coins of Rs 10 and Rs 5.
On the basis of some clues the locals caught one Suresh Kumar, son of Madan Lal of the same village and handed him over to the police.  His two associates ran away. They were moving in a van No. JK02AP/3989.
SHO  Sunderbani Pardeep Gupta said that one accused has been arrested and manhunt for two others was still on. A case FIR No. 91/ 2017 has been registered in this connection. The money was yet to be recovered, he added.
