KPS endorses GoI decision against separatists

JAMMU, July 29: The Kashmiri Pandit Sabha Jammu fully backed though belated but bold decision by the GoI to catch the bull by the horns and finally arresting and interrogating antinational and self seeking separatists whose acts of omission and commission in connivance with the enemy had turned Valley of Kashmir into a veritable hell.
The Sabha expressed the hope that the probe is taken to it’s logical conclusion and no stone is left unturned in bringing the rest of the antinationals to book in order to bring about lasting peace in Kashmir. The arrest and interrogation will also boost the morale of a large number of nationalists who have been suffering due to the free run the anti-nationals.
The Sabha took stock of the situation arising out of this momentous action and decided to appeal the State Government to once again initiate steps to fulfill the aspirations of the Kashmiri Pandits and implement the promises that the GoI & J&K Government had made as stated in their AoA. In spite of earmarking funds for various activities like creating colonies for resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits no progress has been made in view of the stiff opposition by the separatists and also due to the widespread unrest that took place after the liquidation of terrorist Burhan Wani. Now is the time to initiate steps in this direction to send positive signals to the community and boost it’s sagging morale.
The Sabha congratulates the State Government for having decided to recruit the rest of the 3000 youth of the community which the PM package had envisaged and urges the Government to complete the process in a time bound manner to address the issue of unemployment amongst them.
