SAMBA, July 29: A team of Jammu Province People Forum (JPPF) headed by its president Th Pavitar Singh (Retd Sessions Judge) conducted a tour of Gurha Slathia and interacted with the public in a meeting.
In his address, Pavitar Singh asked the people to keep themselves ready for furthering of the Jammu cause and also to raise voice against ill will of the Government towards Jammu.
During interaction, M S Katoch, working president of the Forum, highlighted the aims and objectives of the organization and said that Jammu province is deprived of almost every opportunity available in the State. It is high time to standup against the atrocities of the Government on the people of Jammu province, he said and added that youth of Jammu was frustrated due to non availability of job opportunities.
During the meeting, introduction of Kashmiri language in Jammu province colleges was also discussed.
Others, who spoke, included M L Sharma, Rajesh Thakur, Sunita Sharma, Pritam Sharma and Balwan Singh.
