JAMMU, Aug 1: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DFSS) today held a protest against Hurriyat leaders and demanded the Government to exile them along with their families to Pakistan for which they are working in Kashmir.
Holding Tricolours in their hands, the workers of DFSS under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta assembled near Rani Park in old Jammu City and started raising slogans against Pakistan and Hurriyat leaders.
Addressing the protesting activists, Ashok Gupta said in recent NIA raids on the residences of Hurriyat leaders and their close aides, several evidences have been found which establishes their relationship with Pakistan and ISI. Moreover, the NIA has found documents that list dates when protests and other activities related to civil unrest was to be carried out in the Valley following the shooting of Hizbul Mujahideen leader Burhan Wani.
He said that the protests, intended to fan radicalism, involved local clerics and separatist cadres as well as activists of opposition parties and were funded by Hurriyat in concert with Pakistani agencies.
“In last 70 years, various Governments catered to the separatists by providing them with securities, amenities taking care of their travel and leisure expenses and in return they spilt venom against India and created hostile situation in Valley”, Gupta said.
Stating that in 2002 a detailed report was submitted by the NIA to the Central Home Ministry in which it was clearly stated that Hurriyat is responsible for the terror and unrest in Kashmir, Gupta questioned the Government why in past 15 years no action was taken against them. “Government must issued a white paper on the issue, as the delay of 15 years have led to the loss of lives of various solider and billions of dollars”, he added.
Gupta demanded immediate seizure of the assets of these Hurriyat leaders and exiling the entire Hurriyat leadership along with their families to Pakistan.
