UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: Burglars struck a shop at Ramnagar Chowk, near National Academy, here last night.
According to police sources, theft took place at the shop of Sanjay Kumar son of Shiv Kumar, resident of lane of National Academy, Udhampur. They said that owner of the shop came to know of the theft this morning, when she found the lock broken and the articles of her shop lying in disorder.
“An HP gas cylinder and a cash of Rs 25000 was also found missing from the shop”, sources said, adding, in this connection a case FIR No 356/2017 under Sections 457 and 380 RPC was registered at police station Udhampur and investigations started.
