JAMMU: A legislator from Peoples Democratic Party was booked in alleged attempt to murder case in Rajouri district.
“MLA Rajouri, Qamar Hussain has been booked in alleged case of attempt to murder for assaulting a man near Darhali bridge locality in Rajouri,” police here today said.
Qamar Hussain is sitting MLA from Rajouri constituency. “The MLA, alongwith his Private Security Officer, has also been booked for allegedly thrashing and using force against the complainant–Aijaz Ahmed alias Shiki, resident of Pululian Dassal, Rajouri,” police said.
They said that a case under FIR number 336/2017 under sections 307/341/34 RPC has been registered and investigations started. (AGENCIES)
