SRINAGAR: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen D Anbu today visited south Kashmir to review the security in the militancy-infested region.
“Lt Gen D Anbu, accompanied by Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen J S Sandhu, was briefed on all aspects of security and operational preparedness in the valley,” a defence spokesman said here.
He said the Army commander appreciated the measures put in place to meet any challenge and complimented the troops for the recent successful counter-terrorist operations. (AGENCIES)
