SRINAGAR: As many as 82 officials of traffic police in the Jammu and Kashmir were granted promotion, a police spokesman said here this evening.
He said the Committee constituted by the Traffic Police Headquarters (Hqrs) regarding grant of In-situ promotions to the Police personnel of Traffic Range, Jammu met here today.
After thorough scrutiny of the service records, in-situ promotion in respect of 82 officials was granted by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Traffic J&K. (AGENCIES)
