Civilian injured in petrol bomb attack in Srinagar succumbs

 

SRINAGAR:  A civilian injured in a petrol bomb attack in summer capital, Srinagar, died in a hospital this morning, a police spokesman said.

   He said unidentified persons hurled a petrol bomb on a police naka at Badyari Chowk, Dalgate on the bank of Dal Lake last evening in which a civilian Imtiyaz Ahmad was critically wounded.

    The injured was rushed to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), where he died, police spokesperson said.

   A case has been registered and a massive hunt has been launched to nab the attackers, he added. (AGENCIES)
