RAJOURI, Aug 13: A young woman died at her residence under mysterious circumstances at village Argi today.
The deceased has been identified as Shamshad Begum (18), wife of Mohd Jabar, resident of Argi. The police said that husband of the woman called her parents during the day telling that their daughter has died after consuming something. They rushed at her in-laws’ house and found that Shamshad was lying dead on Sofa. They called police and the police shifted the dead body to Rajouri hospital for postmortem.
The police registered a case under section 174 CrPC and started investigation. The police has detained the husband and his two more family members. The parents have alleged that their daughter has been murdered by her husband. She had been married hardly during April this year and was being harassed by them.
