JAMMU, Aug 14: Geeta Chaturbedi, wife of AC Chaturvedi, Retd DGP J&K expired yesterday at her residence at 28 Ram Nivas, BC Road, Rehari Chungi, Jammu after a brief illness.
Geeta Chaturbedi had remained an active member of Police Wives Welfare Association and remained committed to the welfare of the families of retired/ serving police officers and also families of police martyrs.
She is survived by her son Anshul Chaturvedi.
AC Chaturvedi was an IPS officer of 1970 batch of J&K cadre who had held many challenging position in the department. Larger numbers of serving and retired police officers as well as members of civil society participated in the cremation today.
