JAMMU, Aug 16: The birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Kashi Bub Ji Maharaj were held with fervour and gaiety. In this connection two day Maha Yagya was performed at by Swami Kasha Bub Ji Maharaj Trust Hugam. Large number of devotees participated in the celebrations to pay obeisance to Swami Ji.
After the puranahuti the devotees were served with prashad. Speaking on the occasion Ashok Koul general secretary (Org) BJP assured the Trust members that all out efforts will be made to provide basic infrastructure so that the Trust can function normally and render the social and religious services.
Swami Kumar Ji dwelt on the life of Swami Kashi Bub who he said lived a simple life in great penance. On the occasion budding students of Kashmir Pandit community were presented awards. Besides, Kiran Wattal Ex Commissioner JMC and Omkar Nath Bhat were also presented award of honour by the Trust.
Former MLC Vijay Bakaya, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, M L Raina, Prof A N Sadhu, Dr Sushil Wattal, Chand Ji Bhat president displaced district BJP, B L Bhat, M K Yogi, Kuldeep Raina and others also spoke on the life of Swami Ji. B L Bhat chairman of the Trust highlighted the activities of the Trust.
