DODA, Aug 17: Three persons were injured, when the Tavera car they were travelling in, skidded off the road and plunged into Dansal Jathi nallah near Assar on Batote-Doda highway.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-7103 was on its way to Jammu from Gandoh, when it met with accident.
After getting information, a team from Assar Police Station immediately swung into action and started rescue operation with the help of locals. All the injured persons were shifted to Community Health Centre (CHC) Assar, from where they were later referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Shafiqa Begum, wife of Abdul Rashid Dar of Gandoh, Jozia Rehan, daughter of Abdul Rashid Dar of Gandoh and Sheryar Zargar, son of Mohammad Isaq Zargar of Thathri.
A case in this regard has been registered at Thathri police station and investigation started.
