JAMMU, Aug 21: Former Minister and MLA Marh Ch. Sukhnandan Kumar today inaugurated a community hall at village Tikri Khanni in his Constituency which has been completed at the estimated cost of Rs 22 lakh sanctioned under Border Area Development Programme (BADP). This was long pending demand of the inhabitants of the village.
Addressing the gathering former Minister said that implementation of various developmental activities undertaken by the Government has been fast paced and are being regularly monitored. It is endeavour of the Government to ensure time bound completion of works so that people get benefitted.
The MLA said that due to sustained efforts of the State’s BJP-PDP Government much headway has been achieved in ensuring time bound completion of developmental works. He also directed the executive agency to complete the works in stipulated time frame.
Calling upon the youth to derive maximum benefits from employment schemes, he enjoined upon them to inculcate spirit of entrepreneurship and look beyond Government sector for jobs.
Officers of the concerned departments, ex sarpanches Harjit Singh Gopal Sharma, Deepak Pandey and large number of people of the area were also present on the occasion.
