SRINAGAR, Aug 21: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, has strongly condemned the killing of Hilal Ahmad Malik, cable operator of Shopian and Gowhar Ahmad Dar of Urpora, Nagbal by unidentified gunmen.
In a statement, the Chief Minister described the killings as unfortunate, inhuman and dastardly. She said violence has not achieved anything anywhere in the world and our record of past 30 years showed that it has only torn apart social fabric of the societies.
Mehbooba expressed her condolences with the bereaved families of Malik and Dar.
