SAMBA, Aug 22: A scooty rider was injured after his two wheeler bearing registration number JK21C/6646 was hit by a car bearing registration number JK21/4575 near Government Degree College Samba at Mansar Morh today.
The injured was identified as Rekha Devi, 30, W/o Balvinder Kumar of Shah Blode. She was first taken to DH Samba where from doctors referred her to GMC Jammu. Her condition is stated to be critical.
The Samba Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law.
Meanwhile a youth identified as Koushal Kumar, 33, S/o Mohan Lal of Chawni in Ramgarh tehsil of Samba district is battling for life in GMC Jammu after he consumed some poisonous substance at his residence today.
He was first taken to Ramgarh Hospital for treatment where from doctors referred him to GMC Jammu. The Ramgarh Police has registered a case under relevant sections of law in this regard.
