3 killed, 13 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Apr 27: Three persons died and 13 others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley today.
Reports said that a load carrier bearing registration number JK01K/4418 driven by Zahoor Ahmad Rather resident of Haripora Manigam skidded off the road and fell into Baba Canal near Arhama, Ganderbal, resulting in injuries to three persons along with the driver.
Among the injured Mohammad Abdullah Dar succumbed to his injuries and other two injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Travera bearing registration number JK18/3371 hit and injured a Cyclist Ghulam Nabi Sheikh son of Ali Mohammad resident of Pandrathan near Cantonment Badami Bagh, Panthachowk. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Travera bearing registration number JK05C/4012 skidded off the road and rammed at a tree at Nambal, Awantipora, resulting in the death of Imran Khan son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Kutroo-Rafiabad and injuries to eight passengers. All the injured were hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Travera bearing registration number JK01P/6245 hit a load carrier bearing registration number JK01R/3962 at Ringi-Tarzoo, Sopore, resulting in the injuries to the load carrier driver Shabir Ahmad Wani son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Rainawari. The injured was hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01C/1287 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01H/1519 at National Highway Zangam-Pattan, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and a pillion.
