JAMMU, Nov 2: A joint delegation of People’s Democratic Trade Union and Democratic Teachers Forum led by Suresh Sharma and Kapil Bakshi State presidents of two organisations respectively called on Director School Education, Jammu, Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi here today.
The delegation apprised Mr Qureshi of the problems being faced by the teaching community regarding promotion to the cadre of headmasters & 10+2 lecturers and also bringing back to their home town masters of Kathua working in Chenab Valley and other districts.
The delegation also discussed the problems of promotions, adjustments and issue of recognised and unrecognised universities threadbare.
