Srinagar, Aug 24: Lok Janshakti Party (YUVA) today said that some least known political parties are unnecessarily raising a clamour against the issue related to Article 35 A and are diverting the attention of people from the real issues that State face.
Addressing a press conference here, the LJP Yuva president Sanjay Saraf said that the attempts to abrogate Article 35 A of the Constitution is a matter of concern for all the citizens of State but alleged that some political parties are trying to gain a political mileage out of it.
“It is an issue of the whole state and all the citizens will be directly affected if centre abrogates it”, he said. He said “the Article 35-A is the dignity of citizens of Jammu and Kashmir as we are the only people with a distinction of having separate state subject laws in the country”.
