LOS ANGELES, Aug 25: Actor Ryan Gosling, who is currently gearing up for the release of “Blade Runner 2049”, is set to host the 43rd season of “Saturday Night Live”.
NBC’s sketch comedy show will return for its season premiere on September 30, with musical guest Jay-Z.
The announcement was made on the official Twitter account of “SNL”.
Gosling hosted the “SNL” once before in 2015, while Jay-Z has come on the show three times to date. (PTI)

Augustus Prew cast in Netflix comedy ‘Ibiza’
LOS ANGELES, Aug 25:
Actor Augustus Prew has come on board the Alex Richanbach-helmed comedy “Ibiza”.
Prew, 29, has joined Gillian Jacobs, Vanessa Bayer and Phoebe Robinson in the film from Gary Sanchez Productions for Netflix, reported Deadline.
The story follows three ambitious women whose work trip to Ibiza quickly degenerates into a wild vacation of nightclubbing and romance.
Prew will play Miles, a handsome, wealthy, club-goer who shares an immediate spark with Robinson’s character when they meet on a flight to Ibiza.
Lauryn Kahn wrote the screenplay, which Gary Sanchez’s Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick are producing. (PTI)
