10 more stranded trains cleared

JAMMU, Aug 27:  Ten more trains were cleared for different destinations by the Northern Railways authorities from Katra and Jammu Stations today.
A Railways spokesman said that while only one train, Jhelum Express arrived here from outside the State at 11.55 AM today, 10 trains left for different destinations from Jammu and Katra Stations.  Two trains which left during morning hours included  Malwa Express at 9.10 am for Indore and Jammu -Jamnagar Express at 11.20 am. Tata Moori left at 2.30 pm and Jammu Mail at 4.45 pm.
The stranded trains which left Jammu and Katra Stations tonight  included  Jammu-Delhi Rajdhani, Jammu-Pune  Jhelum Express, Jammu-Delhi Shalimar Express, Garib Rath and Katra-Delhi Shri Shakti Express. The train traffic is expected to become normal from the day after tomorrow.
Meanwhile, inter-State buses including Punjab Roadways and J&K SRTC also started its operation today. The private operators have already resumed operation last night.
