Seminar on Recent Trends in IT and its applications commences

JAMMU, Nov 3: Two day seminar “Recent Trends in Information Technology and its applications in Industry”, organised by Department of Computer Science and IT, Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu commenced today.
Bhim Sen Tuti, SP Kishtwar, inaugurated the two day national seminar, in presence of Prof GM Bhat, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking, Prof Bhat said that the seminar would be useful for the students as experts of International reputes are holding informative talks regarding IT.
Dr Laitsen Sharma, who was the guest of honour threw light on the importance of the various information and communication technologies and described the subject as most important in the day-to-day life of the individual.
Earlier, Director Kishtwar Campus Prof Shohab Inayat Malik presented welcome address, while, vote of thanks was presented by Mubasher Hussaion, Liasion officer.
Among others present were Dr Vishal Goyal from University of Patiala, Dr Chanderkant Verma from Kurukshetra University Haryana, Dr Shubhnandan Singh Jamwal from Jammu University, Dr Manish Jindal, Punjab University Chandigarh, Dr Manu Yadev, Galgotia University, UP, Rohit Gupta, Asstt Prof from Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu and Ritu Singh Parihar, incharge IT and organizing secretary.
