JAMMU, Aug 28: Police arrested a driver of a passenger auto for endangering lives of people.
As per police sources, a team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary spotted a passenger auto carrying around 60 passengers. Some of the passengers were sitting on the roof top, some were hanging on back and sides of auto and few were standing inside the auto most of them were students.
The passengers were shifted in other vehicles for their onward journey and also requested not to sit in overloaded vehicles in future and take care of their precious lives.
The driver of the auto has been arrested.
A case under FIR Number 196/17 under Section 336 RPC has been registered at police station RS Pura and investigation started.
