People evince keen interest in printers camp

JAMMU, Nov 3: The All India Painters Camp (Graphics)- the part of the Festivals Mega Show showcasing the ancient art of graphics used for printing the Buddhist Literature is receiving huge public response.
A total of thirteen painters from various parts of the country, including 4 from Haryana, one each from Chandigarh and Andhra Pradesh(AP) besides seven painters from Jammu and Kashmir are part of the camp organised to promote and make people aware about the ancient art.
The people visiting the venue are evincing keen interest in the art being demonstrated by the painters having expertise in the magnificent ancient art.
Being organized by the Information Department, the mega show is receiving huge applause from the people of every strata, including senior citizens, students and youths.
The objective of holding this multipurpose event is to showcase the State’s rich composite culture and provide a platform to local as well as national level artists, Government and private organizations to exhibit their products and art forms.
The mega show involves, screening of Dogri movies, photo exhibition, cultural programmes, painting camps (graphics), photo exhibition by photo journalists, departmental stalls, joy rides, societies stalls, home appliances, local traders stall besides healthcare products and children book fair.
Pottery stall has also been a major crowd puller in the event and book stall, health care products, electric gadgets, picnic tables sets, herbal products, melamine crockery, and handicraft stalls of private and government organizations are also getting good response from the visitors.
