JAMMU, Nov 3: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Bhushan S Verma and Maheshwar Parsad, convener, in which various demands of the teaching community were discussed.
While speaking, Bhushan S Verma demanded release of 6th Pay Commission arrears in two installments, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs 1,000, regularization of all adhoc, contractual and daily rated workers, earned leave in favour of vocational staff, filling up of all vacant posts in all departments and allocation of salary grants.
The federation urged the teacher community to participate in large number in the protest rally of SGEJAC on November 5.
Among others present were Mohan Singh, Prem Sharma, Ravinder Verma, Chain Singh, Mohd Qasim, etc.
