Baig hands over 8 ambulances to North Kashmir hospitals

BARAMULLA, Aug 29: In order to make healthcare more approachable and to provide timely assistance in terms of transport to masses to avail benefits of emergency medical aid, Member of Parliament, Muzaffar Hussain Baig handed over eight ambulances to different hospitals of Kupwara and Bandipora districts in North Kashmir during a public meeting here today.

Member Parliament Mir Fayaz Ahmad, Legislators Javed Hassan Beig, Abdul Rashid Dar, Mohammad Abbas Wani, Raja Manzoor, Yasir Reshi, DDC Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash, DDC Bandipora Sajad Hussain and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
The ambulances were given away by the MP from his Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS). Baig said that this year focus will be the development of healthcare and education system which he said are two critical sectors which define the parameters of progress in the overall growth trajectory of the State and nation.
“We have to work for the uplift of poor, provide basic amenities and help our educated youth in landing for right jobs,” he said.
