JAMMU, Aug 30: MLA Jammu East and BJP chief whip, Rajesh Gupta, today inaugurated a toilet complex at Jammu Haat here near Press Club in ward No 19. The cost of the project is 10.50 lakhs.
The MLA was accompanied by JMC officials, XEn Ram Lal, AEE Rajeev Pandoh, JE Mohd Yaseen and also accompanied by district president, Baldev Singh Balloria and mandal president, Sham Gupta.
The president of the Lakhdatta Bazaar Association, Kartar Gupta and Amit Luthra, Municipal Market Association president, Dalbir Singh, were present on the occasion.
The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Sunil Sharma, Kuldeep Balgotra, Raj Kumar Gupta, Darshan Singh, Vinod, Rakesh Bhalla, Opinder Singh, Ashok Lambad, Ganesh, Charangeet Singh, Santosh, Anil Gupta, Brij Lal, Sunil Gupta, Maandevi and social activist, Anirudh Gupta.
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, said that we are undertaking developmental works every day and it is only a matter of time before we convert Jammu city into a fully developed city. “More and more projects are being launched in order to create a modern infrastructure for our people .Metro railway project is also being surveyed for the Jammu city”, he added.
