Agri Deptt organizes ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ awareness program

RAMBAN, Aug 30: A one day ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ awareness campaign under the New India Movement (2017-2022) was organized by the Agriculture Department in coordination with line departments in the premises of Agriculture complex, Maitra, here today.
MLA Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh, was the chief guest whereas Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Tariq Hussain Ganai, was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), KK Naqashi and other concerned District Officers besides prominent citizens and hundreds of farmers took a pledge for the attainment of doubling the farmer’s income to create a ‘New India’.
The programme was aimed at spreading awareness among the common rural masses about ‘New India Manthan’ (Share Ideas for a New India). The concept is to bring together people from all age groups willing to engage in intellectually stimulating discussions on how India should be in 2022.
The programme was also aimed to spread awareness on various centrally sponsored schemes like the Fasal Bima Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bema Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Startup India, etc.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that such programmes aware general masses to realize their responsibilities in nation building. He urged upon the general public to work as ambassadors in spreading the information in there localities so that maximum number of people are benefitted by these schemes.
On the conclusion, all participants pledged to make India a clean, poverty free, corruption free terrorism free, communalism free and casteism free, besides doubling the agricultural income by 2022.
On the occasion, resource persons including, DAO, KK Koul, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr DD Dogra, DSHO, Dr Vikas Gupta, SDAO, PK Nagar, Dr GM Bali, VAEAs, JS Bali and Vikramjit Singh Bali highlighted various schemes like PMKSY, Soil Health Cards, PMFBY, KCC and various other facilities. Later, chief guest distributed Soil Health Card among the farmers.
