4 arrested for setting mini-bus ablaze

DODA, Aug 30: Bhalla police arrested four persons for setting a mini-bus ablaze.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of July 29 and 30, some unknown persons set a mini-bus bearing registration number JK06-8649 ablaze.
A written complaint in this regard was lodged by owner of the vehicle Tahir Hussain, son of Zakir Hussain of Masri Prawnoo and a case under FIR Number 86/17 under Section 435 RPC was registered at police station Bhaderwah.
During the course of investigation some suspects were rounded up and call detail records and tower locations were corroborated and finally four persons, who set the mini-bus ablaze, have been arrested.
The arrested person has been identified as Ashfaq Ahmed, son of Ghulam Rasool and Nishad Ahmed, son of Mohammad Hussain, Ashiq and Liaqat Ali, both sons of Mohammad Iqbal, all residents of Ghadsoo, District Doda.
The accused admitted that they planned a criminal conspiracy with Firdous Ahmed, son of Ghulam Hussan of Nagri, District Doda and set the mini-bus ablaze.
During further investigation, it came to fore that there was some old enmity between the parties on mini-bus union presidentship issue and the accused party wants to take revenge with the owner.
Police team led by Incharge Bhalla police post SI Sunil Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Jatinder Singh Sambyal, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional P Bhaderwah Shaazad Salaria and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
