REASI, Aug 30: Minister of State for Finance and Planning, Ajay Nanda today dedicated 63 KVA power sub-station worth Rs 2.19 lakh, funded from his Constituency Development Fund to the people of Bagot Jagir Pouni.
While addressing the gathering, Nanda said that these areas have been facing power crises and problem of low voltage and power cuts since long time and with the commissioning of the new power utility, large numbers of households will get sufficient electricity.
The Minister also stated that steps are being taken by the Government to improve power infrastructure and power supply in other areas which are yet to be connected with power grid.
He encouraged the people to come forward with their demands and basic issues related to ration supply, drinking water, roads connectivity, employment under MGNREGA, power supply, seeds availability and alike without any hesitation as they are the rightful beneficiaries of various schemes of the Government.
