JAMMU, Aug 30: Gharota police arrested three thieves.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Gharota police station conducted raid and apprehended three thieves.
The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Haneef, son of Mohammad Yousuf, Mohammad Sadiq alias Pappu, son of Mohammad Yousuf and Abdul Hamid alias Maddu, son of Mohammad Mussa, trio residents of Raipur Jagir.
They were wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 79/17 under Section 379 RPC with police station Gharota.
Questioning of the accused is going on to recover the stolen items and to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Gharota Inspector MA Giri made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Aun Gupta.
