JAMMU, Aug 30: A teen-aged boy was tonight found hanging with the hook of the ceiling fan at his residence in Subhash Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a 14-year-old boy namely Kanav Sharma, son of Shammi Sharma, resident of Subhash Nagar was found hanging at his residence. As soon as the family members noticed him hanging, they shifted him in unconscious condition at Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem”, he said, adding, Sarwal police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations to ascertain the circumstances which forced the boy to take such an extreme step.
