Los Angeles, Sep 1 (PTI) “Mr Right” actor Sam Rockwell is in final negotiations to portray former US president, George W Bush, in Adam McKay’s Dick Cheney biopic.
The film features Christian Bale in the lead role of Cheney, who served in the administrations of Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and George W Bush before becoming the CEO of Halliburton, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Cheney also was the former vice president of the US between 2001 and 2009 under Bush.
The cast also includes Steve Carell, Amy Adams and Bill Pullman.
Carell has been cast as Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, while Adams is playing Cheney’s wife, Lynne.
Pullman was tapped to star as Nelson Rockfeller, the 41st Vice President of the US.
Production on the project is expected to begin this month. (PTI)
