Chuni appointed chairman J&K PoK Residents Council

JAMMU, Sept 3: Narinder Dev Chuni, a prominent social activist has been appointed as the chairman of Jammu and Kashmir, PoK Residents Council by Prof Bhim Singh today.
Disclosing this at a press conference here today, Prof Singh said family of Chuni hails from occupied areas of Jammu Province (J&K) and it was forced to migrate to Jammu in 1947. Chuni is also member of the Jammu and Kashmir National Integration Committee which stands for promoting amity, friendship and brotherhood between the residence of Jammu Pradesh and PoK.
Prof Singh claimed that Chuni has been authorized to constitute eleven member committee of the representatives from both sides, Jammu and Kashmir and PoK which shall build new roads of promoting understanding and friendship between the residence from both sides.
Prof Bhim Singh, who is also chief patron of Jammu and Kashmir Intra- State dialogue, called on youth and students of Jammu and Kashmir to join hands, support NPP for justice, equality and peace. He said that reorganization of J&K is the only way out to restore peace in State.
NPP leader said that Fundamental Rights should be accorded to the residence of J&K. “One flag and one constitution from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Fundamental Rights to all is the only solution to resolve Kashmir issue,” Prof Singh maintained.
