KATRA, Sept 4: In order to beef up the security of tunnels, bridges and Railway track, falling under the jurisdiction of GRP Katra, SSP Railways Katra, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, today conducted a security review and held a meeting with all Cluster Incharges of GRP Katra.
All the Cluster Incharge were directed to ensure round the clock patrolling/surveillance on the Railway track for foolproof security as well as to avoid incidents of suicide, cattle killing and natural calamities on the Railway track. They were also directed to maintain list of important telephone numbers, like nearest hospitals, territorial Police Stations/Police Posts, Army/PMF establishments so that in case of any untoward incident, quick action could be taken.
The Cluster Incharge were also directed for strengthening and charging up their respective beats so as to fix the responsibility of each and every official.
During the meeting, the officers were also made aware with regard to various welfare schemes launched by the Police Headquarters for the welfare of Police personnel.
