JAMMU, Sept 5: Speaker, Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the renovated dental section of Guru Nanak Mission Hospital at Guru Nanak Nagar, here today.
Gupta was chief guest on the occasion, while Charanjit Singh Khalsa, MLC was the guest of honour.
The dental section of the hospital is being co-managed by Khalsa AID India, a renowned International NGO.
The hospital management is providing facilities to the poor and needy people of the area especially in the field of medicines, surgeries, ophthalmology, gynaecology, physiotherapy, dental care, child care and laboratory facilities free of cost.
Kavinder Gupta announced Rs 10 lakh out of his Constituency Development Funds for the upgradation of Mission Hospital. Charanjit Singh Khalsa also promised to provide one ultrasound machine with doppler out of his CDF.
Various prominent citizens along with Administrator, Dr Sarabjit Singh, doctors, staff members and management committee members were present on the occasion.
The stage was coordinated by Manjit Singh, Secretary, Chairman TS Wazir presenting vote of thanks assured that the management will leave no stone unturned to provide best healthcare facilities to the needy section of the society.
