JAMMU, Sept 6: Doctors Association Jammu (DAJ) today constituted its body and unanimously elected Dr Balvinder Singh as the president.
Dr DP Singh was elected as vice-president and Dr Manjeet Singh as general secretary of the Association. Dr Arshad and Dr Arun Dev Singh were elected as secretary while Dr Prakash Atri, Dr Nipun Kalsotra, Dr Kanav Padha, Dr CD Thappa, Dr Ramzan Bhatti, Dr Bishan Singh, Dr Kewal , Dr Irfan Malik, Dr Vikas Sharma, Dr Junis Ali, Dr Naveed Bashir Runyal, Dr Dushyant Choudhary and Dr Javed Iqbal were elected as joint secretaries of the Association.
Dr Eshrat Hussain, Dr Sayeed, Dr Zakir Hussain, Dr Jameel, Dr Shalinder Sharma, Dr Mohammad Rafi Wani, Dr Farid Wani, Dr Pardeep Kumar Bhagat, Dr Shabir, Dr Ajay Kotwal, Dr Vinod Katil, Dr Gurdev Singh, Dr Pavitar Singh, Dr Uttam Chand, Dr Talib Hussain, Dr Pardeep Bhau, Dr Vineet Gupta, Dr Nital Gupta, Dr PS Thakur, Dr Gagan Bali and Sourabh Katoch were elected as District Incharge of Jammu province.
The Doctors of Jammu division, MBBS and Specialists of different branches, registered with Jammu and Kashmir Medical Council, have framed the Doctors Association Jammu with the twin purpose of enhancing the welfare of patients as well as to look after the day to day problems encountered by the doctors.
