Farooq surrenders 2 LPG connections

SRINAGAR, Nov 4:  Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Dr Farooq Abdullah has surrendered two of the three Hindustan Petroleum gas connections.
His son and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had surrendered two LPG connections yesterday following media reports that he has three connections when common people were facing acute shortage of gas cylinders in the State, sources said here.
Dr Abdullah also had three gas connections on his name.
Today, he has surrendered two of them and retained one.
The gas agency has, therefore, blocked his two connections. (UNI)
