JAMMU, Sept 9: A deputation of J&K Agriculture Technocrats’ Association (JKATA) met HK Razdan, Director, Agriculture, Jammu and apprised him of their demands.
The deputation also apprised the Director about their recent visit to Srinagar where they met State Finance Minister, Haseeb Drabu, Agriculture Minister, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, MoS for Agriculture, Sunil Sharma and top bureaucrats including Chief Secretary, J&K, BB Vyas and Director Codes, and submitted a memorandum of demands which include incorporation of 7, 8 and 9 years of service since 2007 with benefits of pension scheme and removal of pay-anomalies.
Razdan gave a patient hearing to the deputation and advised the deputation members to prepare a proposal jointly by the consent of Agriculture Department comprising senior most, experienced hands and association members as early as possible, so that he may forward the same to the concerned higher authorities accordingly.
The Director also assured the deputation that their issues will definitely be addressed very soon within a stipulated time frame.
