Several political, civil society delegations call on Union Home Minister

SRINAGAR: Delegations of various political parties called on the Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh here today and apprised him of the prevailing situation in the state and the way forward.

The delegation of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was led the party’s by Senior Vice President Mohammad Sartaj Madni.

The National Conference delegation was led by the party’s Working President and former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.

The delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was led by the party’s State President Sat Sharma.

The Congress delegation was led by Legislator Mohammad Muzaffar Parray.

The People’s Conference delegation was led by the party President and Minister Sajjad Ghani Lone.

The delegations of Peoples Democratic From (PDF) led by Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, Democratic Party (Nationalist) led by Ghulam Hassan Mir, Awami  Itehaad Party (AIP) led by Er Rashid and Kashmir Society delegation led by Khawaja Farooq Renzu Shah also called on the Union Home Minister.

The other delegations who called on the Union Home Minister today included J&K National Panthers’ Party, All J&K Panchayat Association, All Party Sikh Coordination Committee and Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad.

Union Home Secretary, Rajiv Gauba was also present during these meetings.
