REASI, Sept 10: Katra police arrested a drug peddler along with 45 grams of cannabis.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Katra intercepted a pedestrian at Counter Number 2, who was trying to hide himself from the cops.
During checking, police recovered 45 grams of cannabis from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Amanat Ali, son of Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Bhamail, Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 163/17 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Katra police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Katra Inspector Arvind Sambyal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Katra Dr. Ashok Sharma, Additional SP Katra Naresh Singh and SSP Reasi Tahir Bhat.
