JAMMU, Sept 10: Domana police arrested a self styled tantrik for kidnapping a housewife.
As per police sources, a complaint was filed by a person with Police Station Domana stating that her wife has been kidnapped by a self styled tantrik Vijay Kumar Sharma, son of Mulkh Raj, a resident of Kalakote, district Rajouri.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 252/17 under Section 366 RPC was registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police teams conducted raids in several areas and finally rescued the kidnapped housewife. The accused tried to escape from the spot, but the cops arrested him also.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector RS Rana rescued the kidnapped woman and arrested the accused under the supervision of SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
