Randhawa tours Gool-Arnas, holds workers meet

JAMMU, Sept 10: Member Legislative Council (MLC) and incharge for Gool-Arnas Assembly Segment, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, conducted an extensive tour to the constituency and chaired a meeting of the prominent workers of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) there.
In a press communiqué issued here Ch. Vikram Randhawa along with BJP district president Reasi, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, visited Gool-Sangaldan area and chaired a meeting of the BJP workers at Dak Bungalow Gool which was attended by hundreds of BJP workers.
While speaking on the occasion various prominent workers of the party demanded compensation as the 75% of the total maize and other crops which have been damaged due to the heavy rains and thunderstorms in the recent past. They also demanded full and final compensation for the land which was acquired by the Government for construction of roads which have been constructed over it.
The locals and the workers of the BJP urged upon the MLC Randhawa to take up the matter for the construction of a tunnel at Dagantop as the area gets cut off during the winters due to heavy snowfall besides adequate supply of potable water in some of the hamlets of the constituency.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa while addressing the workers laid stress upon strengthening the party at the grass root level and spread the message of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’. He also asked the prominent workers to make public aware about the various welfare schemes launched by the Government so that they can avail their benefits.
Randhawa said that the Government and the Bhartiya Janata Party is committed to develop all the underdeveloped areas of the State. While responding to their demands Randhawa said that being the incharge of this Assembly Constituency he is beholden to take up all their demands with the appropriate quarters for early redressal and will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the constituency is developed at par with other constituencies.
The party workers extended full support to the party and thanked Ch. Vikram Randhawa for visiting the area from time to time since he has been appointed as the incharge of the Assembly Segment.
