Gorkhas’ demands

Sir,
The turmoil in Darjeeling was sparked when the West Bengal Government directed that Bengali be taught in schools in the hilly region. GJM administrated areas have pockets of Nepali speaking people, who being in India must follow the rules of Indian State. They have no right to say that since they are of Nepali region, they will not learn Bengali.
They are stubbornly demanding a chunk of India to call it  Gorkhaland and if the unjust demand is conceded under political pressure, it will open a cane of worms. Lakhs of Tibetans who have overstayed their welcome and millions  of Bangladeshis who come illegally will not be far behind, in demanding ‘Lamaland’ and  ‘Banglaland’ as their states respectively. Demand for more states out of existing states is already getting louder after the birth of ‘Telangana’. We must put a stop to such demands.
Yours etc..,,
