JAMMU, Sept 12: A delegation of All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers’ Forum, led by Deepak Sharma, working president of the Forum, called on Director School Education Jammu and discussed with him various issues pertaining to Plus-2 fraternity.
The delegation demanded immediate furnishing of data regarding cadre strength and district wise in-position breakup for favour of perusal of Running Grade Pattern and provision of data of Incharge Lecturers for regularization purpose as required by Administrative Department.
The delegation  demanded issuance of an order for drawal of salary of the surplus staff on various grounds like Medical, need basis, court cases and in favour of those attached in jail to teach jail inmates. Forum also demanded immediate issuance of an order for sanction of Earned Leave in favour of teaching community engaged in CM Super 50/Free Tutorials during winter and summer vacations of 2015 and 2016 which is pending.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured to redress their issues at an earliest.
Those who were part of delegation, included N S Jamwal, Anil Sharma, Dr Sushma, R S Slathia, Pardeep Singh, Bhupinder Gupta, Dr Shafiq, Sanjeev Chouhan and others.
Earlier in the meeting, the Forum flayed the Govt. decision to appoint KAS Officers as Joint Directors Education. The speakers  demanded that either Government  should withdraw KAS Officers or fix induction quota for +2 Lecturers. Forum appealed  CM to personally intervene in the issue to redress it.
The other issues,  which were discussed in the meeting, included release of promotion lists of Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals and Sr  Lecturers, regularization of all Incharge incumbents including Joint Directors, CEOs, Principals and Lecturers, restoration of non-vacational status to the Principals and 40 percent College quota, reorganization of the School Education Department, removal of pay anomaly of Lecturers in Physical Education and implementation of transfer policy in true letter and spirit. The forum also reiterated its demand to revoke SRO 202 which has been applied to +2 Lecturers only.
Forum also condemned the suspension of CEO Kishtwar  Ajeet Kumar Sharma who is known for his honesty, integrity and dedication in Education Department and demanded that a thorough enquiry should be conducted and real culprits should be brought to book and the officer should be reinstated at the earliest.
